| Well, life seems to be busy busy busy! Where does the time
go? (Okay, yes you can probably all tell from my first two
sentences I don't really have much to update on~!) Amy and Hannah
are back at school. We just had parent-teacher interviews and I'm
thankful that they are both doing so well. (It's always
interesting to hear someone else's take on your kids!) And Megan
is developing right along. Her favorite things to do at the
moment are to either push a toy car around (stopping and holding up the
car for me to 'fix' every time it goes crooked or she whams into a wall)
or to stand and push a larger toy around and 'walk' behind. I'm
hoping that she will hold off walking a little longer since they always
seem so much older once they start to walk... I'm not ready for
my baby to grow up!
We've started up Sister's class and have been working on a book called
"The Patriarchs" by Beth Moore. She isn't a Christadelphian -
she's a Southern Baptist and quite a good Bible student. There
are of course issues with false doctrine - but it is interesting to see
why other religions believe what they do, and then to analyze the
doctrine as it's presented by someone who actually believes it, and
then study why we believe what we believe. So far it's generated
some interesting conversations on God manifestation! We've been
having the class mostly at my house, since we now have room since we
moved. It's been nice since we have a play room off our kitchen -
so the older kids can play down there, but aren't too far away.
Also since it never seemed enough time to socialize for just those few
hours, people have been bringing their lunch and we've made more of a
day of it... It's fun to hang out on Mondays!
Also, I've been teaching piano lessons this year. Since Helen our
beloved piano teacher moved to the main land, I've been teaching my
kids and the Crawford's kids. It seems to be going really well,
the kids are making progress and I've really been enjoying it! - Maybe
next year I'll put an ad in the paper to see if I can get a few more
students!
And I've just started working part time. Very part time...
Actually only two mornings a week. At the gym where I work out
they were looking for someone to do the childminding on Tuesday and
Thursday mornings. So, since I can bring Megan (and the extra $$
would be really handy at the moment) I've started doing that too.
I really like kids so it's a fun couple of hours and I'm home in time
for lunch when Richard gets home... Really it fits in perfectly
with my schedule!
And that about sums up everything since... When was it I last
updated? August? Ahhhh - crazy! I guess I should add
a few pictures... Our camera has just about bitten the dust (it's
all taped up and still only sometimes works) so I haven't been taking
quite a many pictures...
Dressing up for that pagan holiday!

(I have no idea what Amy was supposed to be exactly... Nerdy Snow White maybe?? )

Megan now pulls up on everything and 'cruises'

I threw a Pampered Chef party and the boxes were my family's favorite
thing... Even Daddy had fun with the boxes! Hmmm...
From this picture it's hard to tell how exactly all of him fit in that
box!

Megan makes getting your piano practicing done a little tricky!
She just LOVES to play the piano! (This love will undoubtable end
as soon as she starts having lessons! )

Ahhh yes, and her other favorite past time... The scary one
which is why we now have to leap over junk (whatever is handy to use as
a barricade!) at the bottom and top of all our stairs.

| Today Megan turned 7 months...
Yesterday she started doing this:

Today this!!!!
| | |
| Couldn't resist posting these! (I need to sort out the background a bit more... )
| | |
| In fact, it's been so busy I've fallen way behind on my updates!
And because so much of it has happened quite a while ago the idea of
doing a big write up has gone kind of stale... So, once again,
I'm just going to post a few pictures with random comments! Okay, ha
ha, I've just realized after up loading them there are a TON of
pictures!
So, for starters, we went to the Eastern Bible school for the first
time this year. It is held in Vermont and has really nice
accommodations. In fact, most of the 'rooms' are suites and some
are even two stories! Ours was just one story, but had two
bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen. It was very
nice!
ARG! I am having trouble adding the pictures in the 'right' order
so these are going backwards through the summer starting with this past
weekend!
Here's some pics. from last weekend when my good friend Rachel visited us...
Hannah fishing

Rachel holding a crab for the first time!

Me and Megan

It was pretty cold on the pier!

Then it was off to a 3D movie in the park! (Megan didn't like wearing her glasses!)

Shopping with Megan - not happy with us when we stopped walking

Megan's newest trick - standing!!

And enjoying solids (banana I think!) It was daddy's idea to
feed her in the living room... He didn't have to pick up all the
squishy bits of banana after... Yuck!

Hannah at the kid's science centre in Vermont

Looking for frogs at the Eastern Bible School

The two Hannahs... Inseparable for most of the week!

Hannah's room

Where Megan chose to sleep... Apparently the crib wasn't as comfy!

Just hanging out in the jolly jumper

Checking out the Crawfords kitties

In case you've wondered why Amy is missing in most of the photos, it is
because while we were at Eastern Bible School, she went to Manitoulin
Kid's Camp and Main Camp and won't be home until tomorrow. It has
felt like forever! I can't wait to pick her up from the
airport. Although, she has had a wonderful marvelous time with my
parents and at Bible school, which we are thankful for... But we
really miss her!
